Community Programming Associate

Reports To: Manager of Community Programming, Downstate
Employment Status: Full Time/Non-Exempt (40 hours/ week). 4 days in the office, 1 day remote.
Salary: $55,620
Location: This position is based in our headquarters in New York City, with occasional travel to regional offices across NY State. This position is mostly on-site, with a requirement of being in the office 4 days per week and remote 1 day per week.

Position Description
Under the Manager of Community Programming, Downstate, the Associate will help plan and execute events designed to provide services to immigrant communities in close partnership with NYIC member and partner organizations. The Associate will plan and engage in community outreach, liaise with partner organizations, and ensure that event logistics run smoothly. In addition, the Associate will play a supporting role in legal clinics, community education efforts, and coordination among service partners.
